1/48 SAAF Harvard
1/48 build of the Italeri Harvard MK II a kit in the colors of the SAAF. I should've actually used the Texan T-6 model to be more accurate depiction of the SAAF aircraft, the difference being the MK II had a slightly longer rear canopy. But unless you're a Harvard expert no one's going to know 😉
Out of the box build except for Edward PE that was used in the cockpit. The metallic skin of the aircraft was painted with Humbrol enamel and the day glo orange with Mr Hobby color.

Interesting scheme. Well done, Celliers
Thanks Gary
I love trainers with hi-viz markings, Celliers (@cwiechers), especially the T-6. Hi viz is very nicely done.
Thanks George, I think the faded hi viz came out ok in the end.
Very nicely done Harvard, Celliers!
Thanks Spiros
You did an amazing job, Celliers @cwiechers
And you are right, no one will notice that minor difference in canopy length.
Thanks John. I managed to get hold of a T-6 version afterward (they're becoming scares like hens teeth or ridiculously expensive) so will be building the correct version sometime in the future.
That is a beauty! Love the scheme and markings. Well done.
Thanks Greg
Great job, love the scheme
Thanks George
