Triple MiG Killer: 1/48th Tamiya F-84G Thunderjet
After a very long period without any decent representation (in injection mold) of the F-84G in 1/48th scale, we got two excellent examples about a year apart. The Tamiya F-84G was released in 1998 and ProModeler's example in 1999. Both kits are worthy builds and it may come down to which kit you were able to find. This is a great straight-forward build with excellent fit - a good way to practice your NMF π
The Tamiya kit also has the added attraction of building the gun bay open option.

Thanks for looking & good luck on your next build.
Excellent Thunderjet!
Thanks Spiros
Very nice build. If you used the same decal set I did... They made an oopsy as the triple killer was actually an F-84E (not that anyone outside of an F-84 expert is going to notice.)
Thanks for the info on that Dan... The things you learn... after a build π
Very nicely build Thunderjet, @flypastrush
Thanks John
That is beautiful work @flypastrush! π€© I built the Revell E version kit a few years ago and thought it was a nice model as well. Gotta love the old plank-wing 84! π
Thanks Gary,(@garybrantley)
That was a great looking tribute build you put together as well. I ended up building another one of the Tamiya versions as I come across them at Hobby shows selling really inexpensive. so I refined my NFM with the second. - Cheers
