Dragon 1/35 88mm FlaK 36 auf Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H
In their efforts to mobilize all flack artillery, the Germans used Panzer IV chassis as the base for the effective 88mm flack gun. Since the development occurred towards the end of WWII, only few prototypes were tested and most evidence to their existence was found in salvage areas of the Luftwaffe.
What an awesome model and a very interesting subject, Rafi!
Well done!
Thank you Spiros!
You created a beautiful model of this rare combination, Rafi @blackmopane
Never saw it before. Must have been very effective.
Thank you John.
I doubt it if it would pass the prototype tests. The chassis is insufficient to withstand the recoil of the gun. It would need the addition of a substantial support.
