ICM 1/48 Ki-21
Hello all. This is my 1/48 ICM Mitsubishi Ki-21-1 Otsu (b) Code name Sally. 60 Sentai 2 Chutai. Used during the fall of Singapore 1942, so a bit close to home so to speak. Darker green camouflage was sprayed in the field and is one of a kind. Sexy beast of a kit, great job ICM. Another winner.
Last 2 pics, it is joined by my 1/48 Ki-48 Lily.
Thank you for looking. 🤗👍
Beauty. Never seen one built
Thank you. I've seen 2 but I'm sure there are more. I love ICM for doing the subjects others will never do. Love mt spits and 109s etc, but this is refreshingly different. And they go together so well.
Flying Tiger bait! Excellent work on the model! The antenna wires really stand out.
LOL. Yeah. I must do a P-40 to go with this. 🙂
Thank you.
Excellent model, Paul!
Thank you. 🙂
She is indeed an absolute winner, Paul @paulwoodyvanacker
Well done.
Thanks mate
Nice work, Paul
Thank you.
Great paintwork, Paul. I’m tempted to get one of those in 1/72.
Thanks mate, I hope you do. Great kit.
Beautiful build of a great kit. Love your paintwork!
Thanks mate
Looks great! I built ICM's 1/72 version - wonderful kits indeed! They are really upping their game.
Thank you. They sure are. As much as I love Spits,(I'm doing one now even ) P51s and 109s, I love that ICM will dare to be different and release things no-one else has in 48.
That's is some beautiful paintwork on that camo scheme. Excellent!
Thanks so much. I spent a long time deciding what scheme to do and had two others in mind, until I saw this one. It was instantly my favourite choice. 🙂
Well done Sally. Impressive paint job.
Mucho excellante. Gotta get to mine.
