Tom Daniel’s Li’l Red Baron RePop
When I was a kid the kits Monogram put out by Tom Daniel were not my cup of tea, although I did think they were interesting. Today I find them more appealing and decided to try the small version of the Red Baron roadster, “Li'l Red Baron.”
This kit is a snap-together model redone by Atlantis and the fit is quite good. I used glue, never-the-less, for most of the model. It is also molded in color so younger modelers can build it pretty quickly with a nice finish. I chose to paint it. This one was fun to do and I like the look of it. I can see another one or two of these joining my collection. Rommel's Rod comes to mind….
Love it, Scott! Definitely imposing and different!
Thank you!
A funny build and nice result, Scott @guitarhack5
Fun and funny. Thank you!
Very cool, Scott. Great colours and paint.
That brings back memories for me! As a kid in the ‘70s, my favourite Hot Wheels car was The Red Baron, it was a great jumper car!

I remember that particular Hot Wheels car! Thank you George for the kind words.
Looks great, Scott.
All in favor of doing things outside the norm 👍
Thanks, Gary. Getting out of the norm helps keep things fresh!
Far out!
And groovy! Thanks!
Great work Scott. Nice to see an unusual subject that brings back memories. It really captures the look of those Daniels kits.
Thank you my friend!
