Really impressive work on the rigging, Rafi and on getting enough weight in the float tip to keep the tail up! What metallics did you use for the spinner and prop? The spinner looks especially smooth and polished. Congratulations!

That’s an awesome paint work that goes far to convince the eye of a worn sun bleached green paint coat. Really impressive skill Rafi.
Can you tell why you find this kit one of your favourite?

Thank you, Pedro.
Although not an easy build mostly due to the rigging, the kit comes together very well. I found that unlike other excellent kits that Hasegawa produced, the kit has the gist of the old Japanese floatplane.
Looks awesome, Rafi!
Congratulations!
Thank you, Spiros!
Excellent result, Rafi @blackmopane
Weathering specifically looks very nice.
Thank you, John.
A great looking biplane Rafi, I especially like the faded paint work, very authentic looking.
Thank you, Ian.
Nice work, Rafi
Thank you, Gary.
Oh man - love the paintwork on this! I just got the inspiration for the look of my Pete (smaller scale, of course đŸ™‚ ). Well done!
Thank you, Greg!
Looks like a well-used Pete. Well done!
Thank you, Chas!

I used Tamiya silver and buffed the dry paint.

Nice work, Rafi. That’s a really appealing floatplane.
