  1. Let me be the first to congratulate you on this model. It would seem that you actively seeking the camo schemes with extra visual appeal/splash of colour, and it works beautifully.

  2. That’s really sharp! I agree with Martin, great color scheme choice.

  3. Beautiful, delicate work that I’m sure will appeal to the ‘hardcore’ of classic modelling enthusiasts here.

Yes, a very attractive camo scheme, and the ‘big nose’ Gs are my own preference for the type.

  4. Tolga, this is a splendid work of Modeler's Art. The camo pattern is very interesting and is one I've never seen before now.

    Bravo!

    • Thanks Jeff
And here is the picture of real aircraft

  5. Written in a kind and caring way with tongue firmly in cheek.

Sound of pencil breaking. Oh, for the love of Pete. Someone break this mans hands. He's too good. Halloween is over and yet the tricks and treats keep coming.

Followed by loud clapping and whistling from the nose bleed seats in the modeling stadium.

I think where no longer doing craft...Tolga your inching up to Art. Two thumbs up.

  6. Exquisite workmanship all around, as is the norm from your bench...stunning build!

  7. Tolga @tolgaul, this is just simply a Masterpiece of work. Very impressive! Well done.

  8. I echo the sentiments above. Excellent work indeed.

  9. Just when you thought you have seen all the schemes the Luftwaffe had used on the 109. And this one to me is the most interesting I have never seen before. Tolga this one just really pops right out of the first page. Outstanding model. And very inspirational. Bravo!

  10. Thanks Chuck
I have used Eduard s (1/48 scale) instruction sheet as reference for painting

  11. Another real beauty Tolga, and as others have said, a very attractive scheme with that splash of green around the mid-section! Well done.

  12. Just beautiful, Tolga. A lovely, lovely, Gustav that certainly has the 'x' factor of charisma - not often you see something that stands out in such a familiar subject. Gorgeous.

    'liked'

  13. Tolga, another beautiful scheme on a well done model. Excellent work all around !

  14. Holy cr*p those are some flat tyres

    • Tyres are sanded a little to avoid toy view.
      I don't think there's a dramatic difference between them.

  15. Another Tolga masterpiece. I was thinking of doing this with Eduard's new weekender.

Funny thing, Eduard says the light color is likely RLM02, with the light green being a mixture of RLM02 and RLM70 (which is the darker color). Eduard has a funny idea of what "RLM02" is, color-wise. They come up with an even funnier version in their "S.99 special edition" kit, where it looks almost like the light green here. I've come to the conclusion of using the color call-out, but not referencing their color printing.

    • Thanks Tom
Yes, Eduard s mixing (RLM02 and 70) does not sound good for me .
But In Eduard s drawings they refer to Gunze 312 (FS34227) for the light green though they mentioned this funny mixing on above explanation.
      That s the scheme is RLM 02/ 70 and H 312 over RLM76.
