Many thanks to iModeler and my fellow iModelers!
I love getting stuff in the mail, even if it is junk mail! Of course, what came in the mail today was far from what I would call junk. My prize for winning the October contest at iModeler came today, the beautiful Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk.IX (can't have too many Spitfires). And as if that was not enough, there was also an Eduard Brassin engine set for the Spitfire in the box also. Wow, now I can justify buying the Eduard Brassin cockpit set for the Spitfire also. A little early Christmas loot for Sally. I want to thank iModeler and all my fellow iModelers for their considerations.

Congrats, Seamus...we know you'll do her proud. And it looks like a cozy little place to build as well.
Yeah Craig, you hit it on the knobs! Cozy! Wood paneled and carpeted. Have a heat vent right under the desk which keeps my feet warm. I even have one of those plug in air fresheners that keep the room smelling like apple or pumpkin pie. Best of all, it is a strict fallopian-free zone. It is here that I indulge in many of my favorite pastimes such as model building, whiskey sipping, and Olympic cat napping.
Well done, Seamus, I'm sure you'll make a great job of it, looking forward to seeing the result.
Seamus,
A well earned congratulation. I await to see the masterful job you do with this.
Congratulations Seamus. Looking at your past builds that you posted, the Spitfire seems to be in good hands.
Seamus, congrats to you-well deserved. Look forward to seeing it built up and to get your opinion on the Brassin after market sets.
Well deserved prize S, go on admit it you had a tidy up before getting the picture took didn't you!

Not at all Neil. This is actually messy for me or as messy as I allow the place to get. It is a very small room which does not allow me the convenience of clutter.
Seamus, congratulations dear chap, as above I know that a masterpiece will appear from your bench , and as Craig said , a cozy little pad to build it in.
BZ Seamus. Get that gem built and up on the site soon.
Best of luck with the new kit. Boy do you have a "clean" work area, no wonder your builds are so nice!
Hello Seamus and congratulations.
Great project in your hands...
Best regards, Eric from France
Congrats! Enjoy the build, you will enjoy it!
Congrats Seamus! Ah, model building, whiskey sippin' and cat napping; each and all favorites of mine as well...:)
I'm looking forward to seeing that Spitfire done.
