1/48 Mania Ki-27 "Nate" Empire of Japan Group Build

I took the lazy way on this and didn't post any in progress photos. I added a few extra details to the engine in the form of intakes made from brass tubing squeezed to the proper oval shape and made oil cooler support struts from sprue. A Squadron vac canopy and a refined telescopic gun sight completed the modifications. The fin markings as well as the red eagles and wheel stencils came from the Lifelike Decals Type 97 Fighters part 1 sheet. All other markings were applied by paint.

The model represents a Otsu flown by 246th Sentai Commander, Maj. Miyamoto, Kakogawa Air Base December 1942.
