Sweet Home Alabama
I wanted to represent Alabama in a landscape similar to the one that exists in Ko Tapu (Thailand). The kit is from Trumpeter in 1/700 with various generic photo-etched parts and Aber main guns as well as various upgrades to secondary and anti-aircraft weaponry. Other elements are the reconstructed metal masts. The chosen scheme was the one after August 1943.

Yes. This is a small detail that I want to add. There are other similar representations where only with an anchor. The place I think is a calm zone of winds, but I am going to correct it as I did with the Uss Missouri.

Did you model the ship after a photo anchoring this way near the rocks or is it just an artistic concept?
