It would be nice to see a few of you there!
This is a super looking Jug, Tam!
Nice build video.
Welcome aboard!
Thank you, Its great to be here. Sorry I'm late to the party so to speak
Welcome to this great community, Tam @fow_models
You made an awesome entry with this Jug.
Your videos are very instructive, well done.
Thank you for the kind words. always lovely to get praise, but especially so from fellow modellers.
Fine work on your P-47 Tam!
much obliged to you good sir. I ruined it halfway through the build due to having to strip the paint and restart. its was pretty much 'best of a bad job' sadly, but your words are apreciated.
Great looking P-47, Tam (@fow_models). It's impossible to tell you had to strip the paint and start over, and for my money, nothing looks better than a P-47 in olive drab. Well done.
i was careful with the photos not to show the parts of the rescribing i messed up! but thank you
Welcome Tam! @fow_models, Very nice work on the Jug!
thank you kindly sir. I will be sharing more photos of previous builds soon, i just didnt want to spam the board too much on my first day
Great looking T bolt! Welcome aboard.
Thank you Robert. Its great to be here. I cant believe it took me so long to find this place!
Looks great! Nice paint work. Can't have too many Jugs!
This is my first, but definitely not my last. thank you!
Nice work on this Razorback, Tam. Not one of the more overt, eye-catching colour schemes, but very nicely finished. Tidy work on the highlighting - not sure if that was using washes that you bought, or one that you made yourself, but either way, very effective.
Just been reading your article on modelling tips, how to try and plan ahead and how oftentimes the best laid plans... etc, etc ;-). A lot of it rang true with me and as you inferred, although this website has very many talented modellers, it is never too late to write something that may benefit guys coming into this hobby for the first time.
I look forward to seeing more of your handiwork in due course, but you've certainly got off to a great start.
Regards,
Paul
Thank you. the highlihgting was done with an airbrush using the beaching technique, i really only used a wash to try to save the ruined panel lines.
