Columbus Blizzcon
I haven't really been watching the IPMS or local Club Schedules since Covid shut everything down. A text from Mr. Bebout about the Columbus show happening Feb. 19th was enough to load up the car and head south from Akron. It was an interesting venue to say the least...kind of a horse barn without the horses. It was cold, no heat, but the turnout was really good. It was great to catch up to Tom and CT. We met up not long after registration and headed to Bob Evans to warm up. When we got back it was time for some shopping, the vendors were plentiful and deals were to be had. The judging took a while, and with the amount and quality of models it wasn't surprising. It was a fun day for sure...already making plans for Dayton and Indy. I didn't take as many photos as I should have but these will give you a good idea of what was there. I took 4 models and picked up 3 plaques, really happy about that! Tom picked up a few as well. I had quite an obsession with the -5 Corsair...just happened to be Toms!

Jim it was a nice show and BlizzCon was appropriately named. See ya in Dayton as well as Indy, both are great shows.
