Hansa- Brandenburg W 29, 1:48, Flashback, Seemarine Warnemünde 1918

November 10, 2023 · in Aviation · 21 · 299

This was my very first WW1 aircraft built and also with floats. Built from the box, added only cockpit equipment, engine pipes and needle exhausts. Added compass and Parabelum machine gun. This machine was stationed at the naval base in Warnemünde from March to June 1918. Then its trace is lost. He is believed to have probably disappeared somewhere in the Netherlands. The crew is silent. Thank you for watching.

  1. Awesome result, Milan! The fact that it is your first WWI plane and your first seaplane is outstanding!

  2. A wonderful result on your first WWI and float plane, Milan @milantesar
How was your experience with those larger decals on the wing surface.

    • Thank you. The experiences were surprisingly good. The decals did not tear and adhered very well. It was a comfortable job. Now I'm doing Aviatik-Berg from Flashback and it's terrible. After moistening, the decals are immediately poured like tea and do not stick at all. I have to glue the individual hexagons with varnish. Unpleasant and tedious work.

  3. Great build, the Germans had so many cool designs during WW1, I love all the planes they produced then. Beautiful work Malin!

  4. Super effort, Milan. Loved the way it turned out (@milantesar).

  5. I remember this kit when it first came out. It took an extra bit of skill and talent for yours to come out this nice, Milan. Great result.
