1 AOS was attended during 1942 by our former prime minister Edward Gough Whitlam, after this aircraft had left the RAAF.

What a great looking airplane, there's definitely something about a deHavaland aircraft let's you know it's a deHavaland even if you weren't sure what it was. I just love 'em. Really beautiful job and great pictures. π
