Linebacker Shamrock: 1/48th ESCI F-4J Phantom II
The old ESCI/ERTL Phantoms do have some nice qualities about them, nicely scribed surface details and a correct shape however the cockpit is a comparative disaster with poor fitting panels, decals for instruments (which aren't even correct) and ejection seats that don't come close to the real thing.

Thanks for looking & good luck on your next build.
Excellent result on both!
Thanks Spiros - A bit of extra work and you can have a nice kit on the shelf for very little cost (I got both these Phantoms second hand)
Those are impressive looking Phantoms, @flypastrush
Well done.
Thanks John, I am pretty happy with the end results on these (and I got them on sale!:)
Nice Phantoms!
Thanks Gary
Nice work, Mr. Rush. Those kits are basically solid. They just need some help in the cockpit and exhaust areas.
Thanks John - True added the resin ejection seats, spiffed up the pit and replaced the exhausts (borrowed from Hasegawa spares) - Always room for another Phantom (So far)
