USS Nimitz CVN-68, 1976 First Deployment (1/350 Trumpeter)
After more than 1 year 1/2, +3800 parts and +1000 hours of work, finished the USS Nimitz, renovated and improved model.
Many improvements were added... Styrene plastruct sheet, rod, strip, hanger deck, complete set of PE white ensign model "The Ship"
Extra ladders and decals from Gold Medal Models.
Extra watertight doors from Flyhawk.
Aircraft detailing set from Tom,s Modelworks.
Canister sets from Tom,s Modelworks.
Extra Aircraft sets from Tamiya.
Extra deck vehicle set from Gallery Models.
Modification of the 2 heavy cranes.
Lifebuoy and deck crew set from Dreammodels.
Custom decals.
Missiles, external fuel tanks, all Scratch,...
0.3mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm brass tubes improvements.
Tamiya set B weathering.
0.04mm invisible nylon thread.
Model Master, Tamiya and Humbrol enamel paints... Humbrol satin lacquer.
