Fujimi 1/72 Mig-21 MF โ€“ Afghan livery

August 26, 2015 · in Aviation · · 12 · 2.4K

This was from a 2013 group build for our Tulsa club - 6 of us ended up finishing 21's (sorry - can't find those pics at the moment). I had an aftermarket decal set, and chose the Afghan version as I just liked the color scheme. The kit (ebay purchase) came with an aftermarket resin seat, and as usual for my builds I added a pilot. Everything else was OOB. Used a panel line wash and pastel powders for shading and weathering.

Good work on that Mig - 21, and a very " not seen much " paint scheme.

  5. A very nice result, Greg. The camo scheme is well-considered, and the model well-presented.

  6. Neat work, Greg, I particularly like the pictures showing the under surface, your stand doesn't detract from the realism at all.

  7. Very nice Greg! That's a great camo scheme as well.
