    Very impressive work, Cricket @bikequeen
A steady hand is clearly required to get all this tiny work done nicely.

@bikequeen - Top Studio really does make fantastic detail parts. Nice work Cricket. Installing them is the real art.

The colors on this front fork look great, Cricket (bikequeen). The blue rims are cool, and the subtle differences between the various black/dark gray colors is very realistic.

@brithebuilder @fiveten @johnb @gblair thanks everyone. IT was going great i took the 2 fuel tank pieces and makes off the main piece and painted it reached for the other piece and found it glued to the table. : (. Apparently the little cap of CA glue i was using fell off and spilled….I keep this cap full well away from the model and everything else but I guess not far enough. It was a great disappointment. Spent about an hour chipping away at the piece and glue to free it. I reprinted it and will check it this morning…..SIGH : (

My heart wasnt into it yesterday and i should have left it alone….but nooooooo

Sorry to hear this, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had accidents like that, Cricket @bikequeen, I’m sure you’ll be able to repair the damage. I’ve just experienced something similar with my Ferrari GTO, everything was going swimmingly then disaster struck……… oh well, it’s all part of the hobby I guess.

@chinesegeorge Thanks George….it looks ok, have to mask it off then hit with Gloss Aluminum then decal it

Oh no, that is really horrible, Cricket @bikequeen
Being so careful to get everything done perfectly and than this moment ruins your entire mood.
Hopefully you can restore it nicely.

This is perhaps as close to perfection as I have ever gotten with a model and it is my swan song

Tamiya 1/12th Yamaha YZF-R1M, #14133, 2018 issue. Top Studio Detail up set # TD23219 and Tamiya Detail-Up front fork and rear damper. Was going to do the carbon fiber decals but I didn’t bother. Front cowlings are not in place as it looks better without them

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone….be safe…..
