Very nice progress John @johnb. The cockpit details looks great, I really like the seat belt. And the way Eduard provided the shaped weight to keep the nose down is a well thought out idea, keeps it a neat build.

@fiveten, @lis, @tcinla, @eb801, @v1pro, @j-healy, thanks a lot for those compliments. Although not as nice as PE seatbelts, creating them yourself gives a good feeling once they look a bit like real ones.

The wings

Main wings are mounted. First the single bottom part was glued and this fitted great. Next the top halves were mounted and using elastics I forced the wings to bent up a bit so that there was no gap between the wing and fuselage. That did work out quite well. Only thing that needs to be doe is to clean up the edges of the wings.

The monster strikes again
Unfortunately the likely last bits of modelling in 2021 resulted in some scratch building.
Preparing one of the smallest pieces in this did not cooperate well and fell on the floor.
This time the carpet monster won, I did spent quite some time in trying to find it but eventually I decided to spent the time more wisely and try to replicate the piece.
Outcome is as shown on the pictures. Piece on the left side of the nose is the scratch build one.
A bit of cleaning should be sufficient to my idea.

I have made an agreement with the carpet monster; he does not take stuff that lands on the large plastic sheet under my chair, anything that drops or rolls outside the sheet he can have.
