    @j-healy @v1pro @airbum @stephen-w-towle @tcinla @ssgt @johnb @fiveten The model is ready. I have a free evening tonight πŸ™‚ There was some work to adjust the windshield to the fairing. In my opinion, the manufacturer designed this element in a very strange way, because in the front there was a small element protruding from it, which was also a part of the fuselage. I didn't make it. As it happens with a model that is made for the first time, the next one would certainly have less visible errors. Of course, I added the antenna wires between the wings and the tail (this time I had several approaches because somehow the flexible line did not work together today). A big plus for the installation of the main landing gear. It really fit the way I like it, or the way Tamiya does πŸ˜‰ It took a bit of a hold of the breath to cover the undercarriage, but it worked. Finally, I did not paint the red dots - I left it as suggested by the manufacturer of the decal. But, to somehow explain this, another P-40 E is on its way to me, which, to my great joy, I received for promotional points as a free Christmas gift from my Hobby Shop. This is the production of AZ-Model. I will try to deal with this construction and of course I will choose a different painting πŸ™‚ I count on your cheering and motivation πŸ™‚

    PS. I don't like smoke on wings over gun barrels. If I didn't, I always don't like this detail πŸ™ But I very like Paintinf OD/NG with green wheel bays. It's perfect combination of colors, ad very good shade I think πŸ™‚ Tread tires are also my horse πŸ™‚ It's a quickboost set. I also added a sight and a sighting sight from the scraps of photo-etched parts.
    If I cool down and rest a bit, I will write an article on headnews. πŸ™‚

    What a neat little build LIs. You can't loose when you've got a historically accurate aircraft with a dragon painted on the side. Looking forward to your article.

    @tcinla

    I'm glad that you like my model! Even without painted red dots πŸ™‚ I promise that next P-40 will have better confirmed painting. Tomorrow I will recive parcel with AZ/Legato P-40. It will be fun to try another brand. Special Hobby made great, funt kit, but I was disapointed that I had to use putty When I fit fuselage. I rally hate putty πŸ˜‰ very detailed cockpit made me new grey hair. There was a lot of parts, and When I closed fuselage it was hard to fit all in place. I'm so curious how looks AZ/Legato kit. It's more common in details, but sometime it is a good way for short, fun build.

    PS. I have question about George Preddy. It is his plane during Europian duty:

    I try to find planes of J. Kruzel and George Preddy after their Pacific period.

    PS. It is interesting that I found graphic of John Kruzel's P-40, the same as on decal sheet. Of course it is not a photo from this time...

    Thank you that You like my small P-40 πŸ™‚ It's honour for me to be promoted to the 1:72 th scale Jedi πŸ™‚ I have a lot of fun with this kit. Even with fuselage putty event, and thrilling canopy fitting πŸ˜‰ I think it's Best kit of P-40 on the market, but I will try another brand with my new P-40. I like to test some brands in the same type of plane.

    (As i did it with Zero fighter) AZ/Legato is more common kit, but had quite good interior. I hope You follow my build! Lis Lieutenant Lis will return with the new, immortal P-40 πŸ™‚

    At last I found John Kruzel's Mustang from Europian period. He is a fascinating character to me and I am glad to have a model of his plane.
