Hi @gblair - just checkin' up on progress here. You really have a lot of mods and corrections on these, and it looks like it will be well worth the effort.

Thanks, Erik (@airbum). I didn't realize how big a challenge this would be, but I get a little closer to the end every day.

Thanks, Eric (eb801). I usually just build one at a time, but this seemed like a good idea. Jury is still out on whether it was a good idea or not. I hope you also have a good holiday.

I have had some unexpected visits to the doctor in the last couple of days, so my modeling time has been a little limited. I have pushed the trio a little farther ahead. I am also thinking about building a Minicraft 1/72 Ventura to keep the trio company. I started on the Ventura cockpit today. Cheers.

    Progressing nicely, George @gblair
You solved that ejector pin mark nicely.
    Take care on your health.

Hope all is ok with your health, my friend @gblair.
Excellent progress on all: not only the trio is progressing, now it has become a quartet! Looking forward to your next steps!

Thanks, John (@johnb) and Spiros (@fiveten). Things are finally starting to move along. Still lots of work to do, but the work is starting to look reasonable. As far as doctors go, I am waiting to get an appointment with a specialist. I should know more after that. Cheers.

Lots of football games today, but I managed to get some work done during halftimes. The three Hudsons have all made some good progress, and I got to work a little on the Ventura cockpit. Cheers

    Looking good, George @gblair
Quite a risky setup to mount the wings.
The cockpit of the Ventura does look very good this way.

    What a wonderful quartet!

Thanks, John (@johnb) and Spiros (@fiveten). I was amazed at how much bigger the Ventura is, but it looks just like the Hudson. My jigs to hold the plane upright while the wings dry are a little precarious, but they work well. Time to check the wing joints and then fill and sand as needed.

Excellent George (@gblair), It's really cool to see several of these coming together at the same time. One of the benefits of building multiples of the same planes at the same time is this ability to see them as a group, sort of what it might be like in real life. We so often see them in individual photos, so when there are several together, it has a sort of magic.

Looking at the MPM kit, it is a step up from the Airfix kit in regards to detail, regardless of the difficulties in construction. Someday, perhaps, we'll see a modern release of this cool plane.

In the meantime, I would say that you are doing it justice in these builds.

Thanks, John (@j-healy) and Carl (@clipper). I have always built one model at a time, so having an assembly line is a new experience. It is sort of fun. If it had been with models that were a straight-forward build, it would have been really fun. Adding the Ventura into the mix is also fun. I would really like to see a 1/48 Hudson to go with the 1/48 Ventura. I have several of the 1/48 Venturas, so it would be cool to have a detailed Hudson to go with it. Maybe if we all put our psychic energy together it will happen. :o)
