My contribution to 'Attack of the 109' here on iModeler comes in the form of Tamiya's classic kit. Not much to say about this build, it's almost out of the box with just a set of Eduard seatbelts and Aeromaster decals added. As I really [...]
Here's some of my '109s from the past several years. In order of appearance-
The Old Otaki in H. Bartels markings
Original JT-3 (horrors) Hasegawa E-7 (Franzisket)
Hase G-10 NJG 11
Original Revell (Kit No. H-33) from the beginning of time [...]
The Dolphin is the 'Rodney Dangerfield' of Sopwiths. Not famous like the Camel, or even the Snipe, Triplane of Pup, it was 'different'.It was fast (131 mph) and agile, but it had 'backstaggered' wings, the idea was to give the pilot better [...]
Keeping with the 109 flurry, here's my very old 'one of a kind' model. It's the Hasegawa 109 G-14, but modified to the last variant, the A/S (asymetrical) with the DB 605 engine.

Model built as [...]

due to the kit lacking in the seat detail, i made my own seatbelts for the first time, and mixed my own colours,
Hope you like it,
Here is one of my old stories from the past. I did not checked my notes but probably this was my first converted model including some surgery and inexperience. This is Spitfire Mk.12 with the markings of 41 st squadron ( EB-B MB 882 ) [...]
Done back in 1998, using the KMC TBF-1 conversion to do an early-production TBF-1. The KMC wingfold consisted of the resin wing center section; The outer wing "hangs" on a piece of piano wire from the resin center section to [...]
Nothing special about this one. A classic Tamiya kit that still holds up well even more than 30 years after its original release. I built mine stock out-of-the-box. Painted with Tamiya acrylics. A nice, quick and pleasant build.
