Airfix scale model kits

Review: Airfix 1/24 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII Review

Airfix 1/48 Gannet AS.4

Airfix' Gannet is an excellent kit. The fit of parts is very good, and the detailing is extensive with recessed and raised surface texture. My choice of colors and texture was influenced by a detailed indoors walkaround of a non restored [...]

Review: Airfix 1/72 RNLI Shannon Class Lifeboat

Avro Anson Mk I (Airfix 1/48)

Airfix 1/72 Shackleton MR.2

A great aircraft and a very good kit. The only problem that I had with construction was the fuselage halves seam that was not easy to fix. The decals did not preform well and needed additional solvents to settle in place.

Airfix 1/48 Lightning F.2A/F.6

One of the best Airfix models I built. Although it has some fit issues, the model is an excellent representation of the Cold War fighter.
