This is my latest kit finished, using the Tamiya Bf109E-3.
My intention was to make one of the decal options for the aircraft flown by Obfw. Jakob Arnoldy.
He was attached to 4./JG77 based on Mandal, Norway, in 1940.
During that time he [...]
Here is the attempted engine of my Airfix 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-7. I decided to super detail the engine but airfix really doesn't give you an accuratley moulded engine to work from. I scratchbuilt many details on my own but the [...]
This model represents Franz von Wero's aircraft from the Battle of Britain. This model has bothered me a little. However, the result I think is to watch. Models and Wet Transferod from HGW were used on the model. the belts are a little bit [...]

I just bought a Tamiya 109E off of ebay. I thought it would be fun to go back in to my archives and find my photos of the 109 at Thunder Over Michigan a few years ago. This was Russel's restored E that I believe was recently sold and is [...]
I’ve done a lot of improvements (whell bay, landing gear, engine, engine compartment, panel lines, riveting…)
The cockpit is almost completely an Eduard kit. Although it was for Revell, it wasn´t for this particulary kit, so I had to [...]
The Bf-109E-7 was the airplane the Luftwaffe should have had at the beginning of the Battle of Britain, since it was the first Bf-109 to be plumbed to carry a 300-liter drop tank, which increased its range from 660 km (410 mi)to 1,325 km [...]
