My first 1:48 Airfix kit, it was an absolute joy to build, except for the canopy, which had an awful fit.
Parts also fitted very tight in some areas, so they had to be sanded to get a good fit.
I used the kit decals to make Adolf [...]
This was the first kit I built after a 4 year hiatus in model building. Its the Academy reboxing of the Hobbycraft kit, which at the same time looks very similar to the Hasegawa version.
The only trouble I had with this kit was that the [...]
This kit came straight from the box of the Academy 1:48 "Bf 109G-6/G-2 JG27" boxing. It´s a rebox of the Hobbycraft Bf 109G-6, with fuselage halves for a Bf 109G-6, so you have to make some cutting for the retractable tailwheel [...]

Hope you like it,

I've started some months ago a WIP doing a side by side build of 2 bf.109 G-6, one from Eduard and the other from the lesser know mould of the russian company Zvezda.
As you can see the kit builds very well providing one carefully reads [...]
Messerschmitt began work in 1933 on a four passenger light “sporting aircraft” of cantilever low wing monoplane design, with retractable landing gear. The BFW M.37 was completed in the spring of 1934. Later redesignated Bf 108 Taifun [...]
