Well, I'm now getting on to my favourite stage of the build, the weathering! There are still details to add, such as the tubular "thingies" that go on the bottom of the side skirts (can someone please tell me what they are and/or [...]
I "rediscovered" this Meng Leopard in the proverbial "safe place"! At least I had sealed her in a resealable food bag to keep the dust off. She is painted in the NATO tri-colour pattern. I used some spare decals from [...]
Here is a line up of 1/35th Leopards from various manufacturers. The 1 A1 is the old Tamiya kit. I'm going to replace it soon with the new mould Revell kit. The 1 A4 again is Tamiya. Revell (old mould) provides the Leopard 1 A5A5. This [...]
This is an old Leopard 1/35 from Revell, I was in the house of a colleague who bought it many years ago and did not build it. One day talking about modeling he told me he had this kit and that he gave it to me. Obviously I said yes and I [...]

A customer who purchased my Norwegian 1/35 AFV NM-116 Tank from an auction site requested some more work from me. He is a veteran from the Norwegian Military and wanted to have some models of the military vehicles he worked with, and [...]
Tamiya's 1/35 Leopard 2 A6 rounds off my current crop of builds before the Christmas holidays.
It's a Tamiya so this is very much an out of box build.
Markings are for an example used by the 5th Company, 203rd Panzer Battalion of the [...]
Tamiya's very ancient & venerable Leopard1 A1 completed in February 2017.
Though not a patch in terms of detail & perhaps accuracy compared to today's kits (I'm thinking of the Revell offering) - it does to my eye still look like [...]
