Monthly Best in Show award January 2018. 1/350 Yahagi (Hasegawa)

I got this as this month’s best in show prize.
I am so glad to receive this award again and I feel honored. And I am very happy to receive the ship as a gift that I really wanted to build.

Hasegawa’s Yahagi is so good kit. It is a little less than recently Fujimi’s kit, but great enough.
Ship’s body (hull) and superstructer’s details are good, turret’s and funnel’s are not bad.
However, the only choice for the detail up set is the Hasegawa product. Unfortunately, Hasegawa’s etchings are more expensive for their quality.

I’ll try to new way of painting, and start to build this next month.
I hope to finsh this stylish.
Maybe….June

I built this kit some years ago and it’s one of the best kits I’ve build.
The PE parts are very fine, but also quite fragile. If you’re not careful, when you cut them from the sheet, you might deform them.
I wich you happy and successful build.
