Tamiya 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire Mk I

April 5, 2013 · in Aviation · · 11 · 6.2K

My first time posting here so I thought I would share one I built some time ago. This is the Mk I with a Cutting Edge resin cockpit. I added some scratch-built details and finished her with Floquil Military Color enamels and Aeromaster Warbird enamels. The Cutting Edge cockpit is a practical drop-in that required just a little sanding toward the bottom of the cockpit sidewalls so that the lower wing would sit correctly.

  9. Hi Seamus, as you already know I'm not a big fan of the Spitfire, but to be honest with you this one looks amazing, beautiful scheme and colours. It seems you are changing the way I look at this plane cause I'm starting to like it.
