Gloster Pioneer 1/48
This is my rendition of the Gloster Pioneer in 1/48 scale ,I can't remember who the kit is by but it was one I had not seen before,I like to display this next the Meteor at club days.Who would have thought this funny looking bird would lead to the amazing looking aircraft we see today, it's the kind of Grand-daddy of them all.

This is great, but what kit is it? Never heard of any in 1/48 scale.
Sorry,can't remember -It was a make I did not know,but was quite pricey,it was mixed media plastic ,resin and etched brass

Neil, Nice build of a cool subject. I think this is a Special Hobby 1/48 scale Gloster E.28/39 "pioneer Model Kit" They made
that rings a bell... but I built it a couple of years ago.

It was a Special Hobby release in about 1999. You've made it look very nice.
