1/48 Monogram Stuka

August 3, 2013 · in Aviation · · 8 · 3K

Another nice, old kit from one of our favorite companies of years past. As with most models of that era, a fairly straight forward build yeilds a decent looking replica. These kits provide a good starting platform for "super detailers", as well, as in my case, a "canvas" to try out a winter scheme. A lot of fun to play with !

  1. I like it Joe, it does not look that bad with the white wash quickly painted on. Very much a hasty applied camo done at front line airfields.

  2. great to see this old warrior built

  3. Can't remember how many times I have built this kit as a kid, not nearly as well as you have! Great build and the snow cammo looks fantastic!

  4. I still have yet to attempt a German plane with camouflage like this, I love this one.

  5. Joe,
This is one of Monograms best and you did a nice job on it.

  6. One of my favourite aircraft, I'm surprised we don't see more of them here. I like the winter camouflage, it seems to suit it. Nice model, Joe.
