1/48 Premiere Hawk T Mk 1A Made into A T-45 Goshawk
This is the latest kit I have finished. It is a Premeire Ti Hawk which was converted into the T-45 Goshawk retro scheme. To begin with this is a very poor kit the fuselage was breaking apart as I tried to put it together. Some of the mods to the kit were putting an arrestor hook on the tail this was made of solder and the attachment point was made out of plastic sprue. The lower air brake is eliminated as the tail hook is there, now the brakes is located on both sides of the tail. Their is also a fixed fin located in front of the horizontal stabilizer made from plastic card. The decals were from the spares box and rubboff lettering on clear decal. The wings are chrome yellow, the Fuselage is a mixture of grey and silver.

Mark, this is a very neatly finished model, and I like the pictures, but, are my eyes deceiving me, who’s flying it?

It’s remote control, I tried to put a pilot in it but they were too large and I already had the wheels in the up position.
