1/24 Tamiya 1996 JACCS Honda Accord
This is Tamiya's Honda Accord, which is a "curb-side" model, and comes with a ton of decals for the JACCS racing team car, which ran in the 1996 Japenese Touring car series. I picked mine up as one of our club's "$1.00 club" models. (We pay $1.00 per month and receive a model every 5-6 months, then have an in-club contest) With everyone else building their own version of the Accord, I went for my favorite race colors. It was a little more work than I anticipated, but I was pleased with the outcome. I don't recall who won the contest...

Ok Joe, Gulf Oil is your favourite racing colours. Slill a nice build and paint job. A credit to the art.

Cool! My son said if he had a Ford GT, he would just HAVE to paint it in Gulf colors. They are a neat combination, and historically so important. I like that Honda racer!

Another good looking layout. Are you using paint or tape for the black breaker lines?

Gee the only thing I remember in Gulf colors was made by Grumman.

It's cool, Joe, did you come second in the contest?
