BF110C-4/B AIRFIX 1/72

March 14, 2014 · in Aviation · · 13 · 1.7K

Hi there!

My idea was to represent the plane of the photo during the Barbarossa Operation - Eastern Front 1941.

The new tooling kit was a good surprise for me, and to be honest I'm addicted to them now!

It was a very easy build with no major dramas. The decals went superbly good and reacted very well to the MICRO SET/SOL combination.

Built straight from the box only with the addition of the antenna wire (Eazy Line) and some scratchbuilt aerials on the underside of the fuselage.

Hope you enjoy it! Off course, comments and critics are very welcomed!

Cheers mates!

Paulo

  1. Airfix has stepped up with some really nice kits lately. This 110 looks more 48th scale than 72nd at first glance. Well done scheme, weathering and detail is great. More into 48th but might look into picking one of these gems. Nicely done and thanks for sharing.

That is a really nice paint work on her, the winter scheme whitewashed in the field look.
    Well done Paulo.

  8. Looking at your model, Paulo, you can see why the 110s are so popular. I'm sure you have encouraged many others to try one of these kits.
