Let’s start with some 1/72nd scale armor
I wanted to start contributing with some 1/72nd scale armor I did a couple of years back. The first one is the Dragon LVT-4A1 from WWII and it was a joy to build and paint. Just an out of the box kit build, so I had the joy of a quick completion.
The second kit is also a 1/72nd scale Dragon kit. This one their Challanger II with photo etch bar armor which comes with the kit...a great bargain ! It is on a Masterpiece Models resin base and again a fun build.
Both kits where painted with Tamiya acrylics, washed with Windsor and Newton Oils, and then weathered with Tamiya Pastels.
All in all some good fun builds !
REALLY nice George. Great finish and subtle wash and weathering. Wonderful look in 1/72.
Hey George, great work on such a small scale! I hope your show went well I wish I could have been there.
Thanks Walt ! This years show vent very well for us 288 entries on a rainy Sunday in Pasadena, over thirty vendors and over three hundred attendees !
