Let’s start with some 1/72nd scale armor

March 22, 2014 · in Armor · · 11 · 1.4K

I wanted to start contributing with some 1/72nd scale armor I did a couple of years back. The first one is the LVT-4A1 from WWII and it was a joy to build and paint. Just an out of the box kit build, so I had the joy of a quick completion.

The second kit is also a 1/72nd scale Dragon kit. This one their Challanger II with photo etch bar armor which comes with the kit...a great bargain ! It is on a Masterpiece Models resin base and again a fun build.

Both kits where painted with acrylics, washed with Windsor and Newton Oils, and then weathered with Tamiya Pastels.
All in all some good fun builds !
