1/72. P40 Academy
Hello Guys
An old kit I made 10 years ago. It was very relaxing but when I took a look on the pics, I realised that I have some improvements to do on the paint, decals and details during the assembly.
Have a good week end and as usual...enjoy
Feedbacks are welcome

Nice Warhawk, Emmanuel and thank you for posting the WWII photos.
Posting a P-40 here on iModeler is a very good idea !And posting some older kits as well.
Did you use the kit decals, my record on Academy decals is very bad.
Hello Bernd
Yes, it was the acad decals and probably the worst decals I've ever seen. We can see on the tail and with the roundel some issues with the decals. I'll love to do it with a quarter scale kit. I changed for the quarter scale a year ago but have still more than 200 kits to do at the 72 ;-P
I guess your 72nd collection is nice as the bigger scale ones.
Two of my 1/48 builds were nearly ruined by these decals, they look good on the paper,
For me, i never have a special scale, if there is an interesting kit out, i will go for it. These little fighters in 1/72 scale are a good side project and includes a lot of fun
An Aleutian Tiger! I just love the markings on this one. I am busy with the Hasegawa 1/48 P-40 in Aleutian Tiger markings. The P-40's from this squadron was badly weathered due to the adverse conditions in which they operated. A very nice model Emannuel !
I like this one Emmanuel. I'm not normally partial to extreme nose art but yours looks right.
The fact that your photos are much larger than the actual model and still look really good is evidence of your skill. I really like your paintwork.
Emmanuel very nice Aleutian Tiger. Those are some of my favorite marking.
Nicely done sir. Especially with the Academy Decals.
Nice looking model, Emmanuel, especially in 1/72 scale.
Along side the Flying Tigers the Aleutian Tigers are some of my Favourite P-40's. Great model.
Emmanuel,
Very nicely done.
