iModeler September Awards
Once again it's time to award a selection of last month's contributions here at iModeler. September was another busy month, bringing exactly 100 headline articles and 2198 readers' comments.
As usual, we're awarding the iModeler Best in Show title to the entry that wins the jury's vote, but also list runner-ups as Honorable Mentions. We think that all are great modeling accomplishments that deserve recognition.
iModeler Best in Show - September 2014
Among the many top-notch contributions in September, one model stands out as a succesful combination of ambitious approach, immaculate execution and great finish. Quoting from Steve Hawley's comment, we're humbled by those modelers that can stay totally focused on a project until every detail is made to perfection. We think this kind of talent really shows in Grega X's 1/72 Avro Lancaster, making it a winner of the month's Best in Show award!
But wait, there is more!
We are also awarding a prize as a token of appreciation to all our contributors. This is selected through an entirely random draw among all the entries of the month. This time, our lucky winner is California Steve with Chevy 15CWT.. Now this is how I would have done it.
Thanks everyone for bringnig all your inspirational work to iModeler.
