F-4B Phantom II "Good Morning Da Nang"
Sooo many beautiful and convincing Phantoms have been posted in this forum - so I will take the opportunity to post one more as well...;-)
Its the Eduard Limited Edition "Good Morning Da Nang" kit, and the build was a real pleasure. The academy-sprues are of high quality, also the eduard resin- and PE-parts.
Hope you enjoy the pics!
Another Phabulous Phantom...very nice, Christian - much better than the one I did from the same kit.
Master modeler. Very convincing finish.
Thank you very much Craig and Dirk!
Lovely model Christian, what scale is it?
It's 48th scale, Allan (and a nice one, too).
Amazing build, congrats!
Beautiful finish! That's my favorite Navy scheme - I've got the decals to do a 1/72 build of that scheme. Great work Christian.
Great job Christian! Yours looks exactly photos I've seen of VF-111 a/c on bombing runs in 1972.
Nice build Christian, a Phabolous Phantom.
Great build! Nice touch with the refueling prob and boarding ladder.
Terrific work on 'Old Nick 201', Christian! I have markings to build this same jet to add to my collection of Navy Mig-killers. I hope mine turns out as beautifully as your build.
Very convincing. An excellent result.
Thank you very much my Friends!
Great modelling again, Christian. I especially like the busy cockpit area.
Super job! I have my work cut out for me when I do mine to come even close to that! Well done!
Oh and thank you thank you thank you for not over weathering it! The single biggest mistake I see on modern era carrier planes, your seems just right!
Great looking build Christian, (as I've come to expect from you). I have to say this is one of the most common markings I've seen on the F4, but who cares when its done this well. I'll just keep it simple and say I like this a lot. Well Done !
Glad that you guys like it!
For me the Sundownders Scheme is one of my favourites, I like it very much! I also plan to build a F-14 in this markings, hope I will get in touch with it soon 😉
Fantastic build love it
That's amazing once again! I love the tail art, one of my favourite schemes for this aircraft.
Thank you Thomas and Richard! Yes I also like this scheme very much, as aircrafts dont have to be only grey 😉
