Felix genealogy, F8F Bearcat VF-31, circa 1948
A recent build of the ancient Monogram 1/72 F8F, This ones a bit tricky to build, you have to slide the wing and horizontals into the halves of the fuselage, Added some old microscale decals of VF-31 and you get the start of a family tree.
Looks like a Bearcat to ME, Robert...the Demon and the Phantom look equally as well along side.

Rob, looks like a Bearcat to me also. I've got a few of these "Model Masterpiece's" kits laying around, including this one. Still wrapped. Thought I'd save them as a collectors item and offset my retirement !. Nice work on this old school kit old.

Nice work on that Bearcat Robert, and I must say, the Phantom and Demon seems just fine, the tree is looking fine ... nice project.

Nice! Shame the Bearcat was a tad late to the party. Fun line-up with the Demon and Phantom.
