McLaren Mercedes MP4-27 2012 Formula One

November 26, 2016 · in Automotive · · 18 · 2.1K

Something a little more up-to-date than the Ferrari posted earlier, this is the 2012 McLaren Mercedes MP4-27, and, like the Ferrari, it won the first reason, the Australian GP, driven by another Englishman, Jenson Button. I thought I had better post this one today because it is Jenson's last GP this weekend at Abu Dhabi. Jenson is unlikely to win his last GP, but it does mark the end of a great career. This kit is by , and unlike the Tamiya kits it does not provide any detail under the bodywork, so is best described as a kerb side kit. I treated it to an aftermarket safety harness set (there is nothing provided in the kit), and finished the bodywork off with Tamiya's aluminium from the spray can. Thanks again for looking. George
