  1. The big racing Fiat is a conversion, with an altered rear body, console, seats, etc, based on the original car rather than, as Italeri did, using a converted museum model in Italy. The differences were clear when you looked at the more standard (red) kit model next to it, although the red version looked great.

    My "other" hobby is restoring "real" Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars from the late 1960's and early 1970's. These photos of models are hard to tell that your not looking at the "Real" thing ! They really captured the look of welded metal, chains, and braided steel lines to name a few. Very convincing...
