IPMS Race City Modelers January Meeting
First meeting of 2017 for the Race City crowd and it was a good one! There was 18 members and about 22 models. We had a discussions about what tool we use to remove small parts from sprue and different paints. Show and tell was fantastic. As you can see there was something for everyone. Next month we will be meeting on the third Sunday at a new location. Same store (Hobby Town USA) but they are moving into a larger store at the north end of the same shopping center in Mooresville, NC.

Bruce, that’s a nice bunch of models. My compliments to the person who id the P-6E, KI-45, Hurricane, AT-at, and the KI-100. Nothing wrong with the others, either. That Skoda armored car is growing on me.

Would you believe the P-6E is a Lingurg out of the box… BRUSH painted!

I was wondering, either that or the REAL OLD Aurora. I’ve got one, tell him it’s an inspiration to get mine out. I love that airplane! I’m a brush painter, myself.
Nice bunch of models all around, as usual.
Compliments to everyone, thanks for posting.

Looks like a fun time was had by all (we don’t have a “model club” around here – that I know of). Thanks for sharing your pics.

This is important stuff!
The meeting of the local modelling club is one of the things that has kept me going and developing as a modeller. This is how you learn modelling.
Keep it up!
