Douglas A 20G Boston, A28-60, 22 Sqn RAAF Noemfoor Island 1944.
1/72 MPM, I modified a few things, upper turret guns hinge, added alloy foil to landing lights, tinned copper wire push rod tubes to engines, finished in MM enamels with Future and Xtra flat over kit and Aussie decals from the spares box.
Very clean looking build. Love the contrast of the OD/mid green on top.
Thanks Stellan, unusual pattern !
Nice job, Allen. How does that kit build?
Thanks John, no problems that I recall, typical MPM kit I think !
What's the wingspan on a 72nd Boston, Allan...? I usually stay away from those "small" scales (unless it's a big kit). 🙂
Hi Craig, 260mm, 10in for you imperialists, similar to a B25 !
Very nice! The real aircraft sure had a snoot-full of hurt considering all those machine guns! It must've been an awesome strfing machine. Great job replicating the real one!
Thanks Jeffry, 6 times .5in would pack a punch !
Great job!, always good to see one of your builds. I built MPMs P-40L awhile back except, for replacing their vacuform canopy with a hasegawa one [I'm not good with vacuform] the kit was pretty good.
Thank you Robert.
Another nice one Allan!
Thanks Greg.

Nice and clean rendition of the A-20 Allan.
The paint scheme gives it a very unique look. Your touch to the extra detail make this one stand out, nice work.
Thanks DE4EVER.
Very nice build, every parts blended together including the canopy looks so clean and smooth. Looks great!
Thank you Bob.
