Hawker Hurricane 1, A60-1 / V7476, 2 Communications Flight RAAF Laverton Vic 1942.

, I modified and added a few things, basic cockpit details, air filter, antennae, propeller shaft, finished in Humbrol and MM enamels with Future and Micro flat over kit and spare decals, built 2008.

  2. Allan, was that the only one the RAAF had in Australia? A pattern aircraft, then they decided not to build them under license?

    • Thanks Bernard, this was near new when presented to Australia by Britain in 1941 flown by the CFS for fund raising displays and pilot familiarisation, 2 Com Flt in support of G suit development by Prof Frank Cotton of Sydney Uni' in 1942, with 2 OTU, 1 Com Unit and CFS from 1943 to 1946.

  3. Another great built Allan. Very nice in this scale. I like the Hurricane as one of my favorites and finishing one in 1:48 from Airfix at this moment.
