Mitsubishi F1M2 Observation Seaplane Type 11
Hasegawa 1/48th scale Mitsubishi F1M2 Zero Observation Seaplane type 11 "Pete"
With this kit I used the separate Photo-Etched parts set from Hasegawa.
The set included, bracing wires, instrument panels, gunsights and bomb fins.
The seat belts are from Eduard.
I painted the model with Tamiya acrylic. Artist gouache was used for weathering.
Striking rendition, Julian...I like it.
Thank you Craig, I'm pleased you like it.
Beautiful! Looks like it´s flying in formation with itself.
Thank you Stellan, much appreciated.
Beautifully done, Julian. It looks ready to go back into the water to take off for its' next mission!
Many thanks Jeffry.
Very nice, Julian.
Thank you Rob. Thanks also for The Friday Briefing. I think we all enjoy it.
Beautiful. I was unaware Hasegawa made one of these in 1:48
Thank you George. I believe this kit was released in 2009.
Looks great !
Thanks Phil.
This is a beauty ! I was wondering if you had any problems with it during the build ? I have two of these that are working their way closer to the top of the build pile... I really like yours !
Thank you Louis. I made this when it was first released. From what I remember, it went together really well with no problems or needing any filler.
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to try building mine soon.
Your welcome. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Great build!
Many thanks Robert.
Very nice! I just realized I don't have one of these in my stash, and am going to have to pick one up (1/72 - Fujimi makes one...).
Thank you Greg. It's a lovely looking aircraft.
