1/32 Revell of Germany BF109 G10
Fellas,
Just finished the RoG 32 scale BF109 G10 done in Hartmans markings. Added the Barracuda resin oil cooler faring, prop, engine scoops, wheels, and cockpit rear bulkhead, Brassin main gear and used Montex masks for the markings. As usual, finished in Gunze Aqueous acrylics with an oil wash.

Looking really nice this one. I like the almost monochromatic impression of the grey scale the whole model is in. The late marks of the 109 are my favourite. The bulges are giving a powerful look yet sleek and lethal.
Excellent work Andrew - as Stellan says very shark-like!
An excellent 109 - well done!
Outstanding build, Andrew...I like it.
Man... this is really good work, well done
That's stunning Andrew - really love the finish you've achieved - I spent some time looking at it - and it just gets better and better!
I'm with Paul on this. Each time I look at it I notice something new. Excellent work my friend. I like it. A lot. Late War Luftwaffe planes are so cool looking. Many choices for colors too.
Shame you didnt correct the large wheel bulges on the wing and used the correct small ones Hartmann had on his
Shame,as in you changed everythig but that, most visible, thing
This was the first German airplane I ever built , so my 3rd Reich knowledge base is lacking. Are there clear pictures of small wheel bulges on his airplane? The ones I saw were grainy and you cant really make anything out. After I was made aware of the wing bulges, i was already in the paint stage and was not going to change them. Merry Christmas
Well, the quality may be lacking, but it shows that the big bulge is not present, so it must be a small bulge
Great build, Andy. The G series are my favourite.
Andrew, an excellent build on this, looks very realistic, just enough grime to look right. I like it a lot !
Good job Andrew, really looks great.
Nice work on that 109.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. I have added a few more to the stash as it was a fun build.
Beautifully done, Andrew!
Hi Andrew, this is a fantastic 109G. Can you share the link to the build blog you did? I would like to learn more from you!
Thanks!
