1/48 Hobby Boss A-10 Thunderbolt II
This is one I built some years ago but as far as I can remember there was no problems with it. The only thing you must remember to do is to put a large weight in the nose or it will sit on its tail.

Looks like a nice clean build, Robert, the A-10 is a great looking plane.
Nicely done Robert, I like it.
Sharp-lookin' Warthog, Robert (and the gun came with it..?) - hadn't seen a kit with THAT included before.
Yes the gun is part of the kit and you also get a spare gun barrel so you can build the gun and hide it away in the plane, why you would want to do that I don`t know, or you can display it and just put the spare barrel in the nose.
Nicely done. That fella is loaded for bear!
Makes you wonder if it will take off with all the ordnance I`ve put on it.
Nice! An aircraft designed around a gun.
Hello Robert,
Very impressive build. Those wings and their connections to the main air frame must be "solid" but flexible.

I can vividly remember watching these planes make strafing runs ... it looked like someone took a fire hose, mounted it under the nose, and was squirting out a steady non stop stream of red tracer material... The sound was similar to a chain saw running at wide open throttle !
I also had one of these clip the top section of my tanks radio antennae with its wing, when they made a low level pass right over the top of us... The top section of the antennae was missing a few feet off it. Needless to say I ducked inside the commander's cupola when I saw how close it was getting to us... My poor loader just froze there.
Glad they were on our side !
You captured the look rather well... I like it ... a LOT !
Sounds exciting. LOL
