1/700 Akagi 1942 : The Battle of Midway (1)
I remodeled Akagi that I built three years ago.
Recently, I've been remodeling something I made before.
Last time, like USS Franklin.
For the time being I will remodel some of them this way.
I will make diorama with those that are damaged or discolored to be relatively good condition.
You certainly have a flair for these type dios, my friend...exemplary work!
Thank you for your compliment. Although exaggerated by pictures and lighting, it seems to be getting better and better than the past.
Jee Won-hui, I must be one of your biggest fans! Amazing build both from technical perspective and in terms of historical accuracy! Congratulations!
Well done sir, as usual of course.
Another masterpiece, Mr. Lee! Beautifully done ... as they all are.
Amazing work in 1/700 - she looks just as my old friend the late Dick Best described after he hit her.
wow, some of the best modeled "fire/smoke" I have seen on a model. Great Job..so cool!
Hello Won-hui Lee,
The turning point in the war against Japan.
You framed the trapped Akagi, fighting for survival in the right way.
Some of the officers, that had a chance to survive, went down with the carrier.
Surrendering was a word not known to some officers. (Al tough not all)
Regards, Dirk
Another excellent result! I especially love the way your wakes seem incredibly realistic - you can hear the water churning and splashing, creating that beautiful foam pattern. And your fire/smoke work is off the charts as well.
