  1. A build of this magnitude is always a daunting task - especially when it includes a lot of photo-etch stuff (at least for ME it would be a continuous WIP). This project will be followed with much anticipation and enthusiasm. Good luck, my friend.

    • Thank you very much Craig, it's a big project, but no more than what I usually do years ago, it's a ship that I like very much and it's part of the collection I'm doing on the JMSDF in scale 1/350 ... thanks for commenting, Greetings.

  2. awesome model, sounds like a party! Really looking forward to this build and the outcome.

  3. Nice to see it!

  4. I was not aware of this kit Anthony, I have only seen the Hasegawa offerings in the odd scale of 1/450. I might have to hunt this kit down. Looking forward to seeing how this builds.

    • Hasegawa kit is well achieved, but it is very small, I prefer the scale 1/350 ... Fujimi launched this model about 5 years ago, thank you for your words Ray, greetings.

  5. That's a pretty amazing "destroyer." Surprise surprise how they resurrect the Imperial Navy with the name (Official Japanese history of WW2: "We went to war to liberate the people of Asia. We won every battle but were forced to make strategic defeats and then - atom bombs!")
