Yak-1b (Eduard 1/48)
My final model of 2018 – Yak-1b "Liberated Donbass" of 257th IAP, Yugoslavia, late 1945. The kit by Accurate Miniatures, repackaged by Eduard with some PE parts and masks. This is completely OOB build, I've only added Pitot tube made from brass tubing, navigation lights, and a landing light.
Painted with authentic AKAN enamel paints (series 6), weathered with oils and pigments.
Thanks for watching!
Nice work as always, Dmitry (do you actually USE that lighter..?) - 🙂
@craigindaytona Thanks Craig! No, I don't use this lighter as a lighter, and this one was never in use 🙂
VERY well done, Dmitry.
@mikegolf Thanks Jeff!

@britflyer Thanks Justin!
A very nice build!
@roofrat Thanks Robert!
Top notch work (as usual) Dmitri, hard to find a Yak that can outmatch the one you present here. Thanks for posting!
@holzhamer Thank you Pedro!
I've always liked this kit - Eduard dressing it up with profipack is great. You did a great job on this one, Dmitry.
@tcinla Thanks Tom!
Great way to finish out the year! Well done...
@gwskat Thanks Gary!
Great Yak Dima!
The weathering touch is just perfect to underline the shape of this mythic airplane.
Just curious now to see inside the cockpit 😛
@modalex6149 Thanks, Alex!
A beautiful finish as always, Dmitry! Happy New Year.
