1/48 Flying Machines Fiat G.55
1a Squadriglia, Cascina Vaga 1944. The Flying Machines kit was created by Special Hobby/ CMK and is the same plastic as the SH kit but comes with extra resin cockpit and photo etch parts and also parts to do the torpedo bomber version. They screwed up the hood portion of the canopy so I used an old Falcon canopy and cut the hood from that. I kept weathering to a minimum as this camouflage scheme, which was experimental, was on the aircraft for a short period of time before the 74, 75, 76 scheme was applied.
Dale, its always fun to see something new and/or unusually. Its extra special when its done this good. Well done !
Thanks Terry!
Another good one, Dale.
Appreciate it Tom.
Nice ! You did it again and posted up another beauty... This plane looks much better in my opinion wearing these colors over the standard RLM 74/75/76.
Italian camouflage is always unique.
"liked"
Really glad you like her Louis
That...camo...is...awesome. You've done some very cool subjects but this one is by far my favorite
Thanks George, the camo scheme is what motivated me to do this kit.
Yes, a great color scheme, nice!
Thank you Robert.
Awesome camo job on that Fiat Dale. I like it
Thanks for the nice comment Tom.
It's nice to see a non-standard scheme. A very well-done build and finish on this.
Thanks very much Greg.
